With Dawn features photographers Xavier Juárez and Chris Berntsen, whose works are inspired by the lives that surround them and the need to share in that intimacy. It’s about the daily process of documenting, reflecting and connecting.
Chris graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Photography and Imaging in 2008. His work has been mostly exhibited as time-based projection performances within the United States. He lives in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Xavier studied film at Columbia College Chicago. He has lived in New Orleans for two years pursuing photography, video and theatre.
A projection performance will take place during the opening on Saturday, December 12th at 7:30pm.
