December 9 –12, 2020
PhotoNOLA is an annual celebration of photography in New Orleans, produced by the New Orleans Photo Alliance in partnership with museums, galleries, and alternative venues citywide. Showcasing work by photographers near and far, the festival includes exhibitions, workshops, lectures, a portfolio review, gala and more. PhotoNOLA draws hundreds of photography professionals to the city to partake in a variety of educational programs, and reaches broadly into the local community with exhibitions and events that are largely free and open to the public.
PhotoNOLA’s broad range of programming connects and inspires our community through photography. Each December, New Orleans shines as a prime destination for photography collectors, enthusiasts, and professionals in the field.
The 15th annual PhotoNOLA festival is going to look a bit different this year with a hybrid of online and physical elements. It will take place from December 9-12, 2020 with broad ranging photography exhibitions on display both virtually and socially distanced throughout the winter season. The lineup includes virtual portfolio reviews, workshops, lectures, and more! Many events are free and open to the public.
Please join us to celebrate the art of photography, New Orleans style!
PhotoNOLA’s Portfolio Review program offers photographers the chance to present their work to influential members of the photographic community. Twenty-minute face-to-face meetings with gallery owners, editors, publishers and museum curators from throughout the U.S. provide photographers with networking opportunities, critical advice, and guidance for bringing their work to a larger audience.
