The Tassels Have Tassels – images by A.R Havel
December 5, 2020 – January 4, 2021
Opening Reception: Saturday, December 5, 6pm
A collage of dusty tchotchkes, new wave records, and gay hang-overs; some high-saturated saintly prayers sent through smoke-screens and served on a silver platter of rotting road-kill. Behind the ragged velvet curtain, a.r. havel showcases collaborative maximalist portraits, spot-lighting theater and queer kinship. The installation includes prints of medium format photographs, elements of his original scenography, and a theater set that will evolve over the course of the showing.
