The FENCE is officially open for public viewing! Head down to the Laffite Greenway trail (starting at Norman Francis Parkway, formerly Jeff Davis, and extending towards Broad Street) to check out 1,200 feet of captivating photography! The FENCE features the work national photographers, including 9 regional and 6 from New Orleans!
The FENCE is a year-round public photography project exhibited in major parks and downtowns across North America. In addition to New Orleans, other participating cities include Atlanta, Brooklyn, Calgary, Denver, Durham and Houston! Consistently attracting exceptional work by a diverse pool of photographers, the FENCE spotlights a wide range of photographic and lens-based stories. By exploring the universal themes of people, streets, play, creatures, home, food, and nature, the exhibition elevates our understanding of the world-at-large and issues close to home.
