Thanks for Coming Out is a retrospective featuring the photographic work of Britt Burchfield. Britt is a Mississippi Delta Native and has called New Orleans home for the last four years. He has been shooting the male form for nearly 7 years. Britt’s work touches on the isolation of rural queer experiences and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community within those spaces. Thanks for Coming Out is dedicated to our Queer and Gay relatives, ancestors, and visionaries, past and present who have been unapologetically themselves and come out as a means of self acceptance and to aid in the fight towards queer visibility.
