Please help us christen the first ever Slideluck Potshow (SLPS) in New Orleans.

If you aren’t familiar with Slideluck Potshow, here’s the deal in two sentences: it’s a potluck followed by an hour to 90 minute slideshow of photography. Throughout the slideshow, one artist’s body of work will follow the other.

Bring some food or drink and prepare to see lots of great photography. The slideshow will feature emerging and established photographers including artists from New Orleans and all over the world. Photojournalism, still-life, fashion and fine-art slideshows will run one after another in a relaxed and spirited atmosphere. Featured artists include Mead Jones, Renee Allie, Stewart Harvey, Michael Donner, John Bridges and many more.

Spirits generously provided by Brooklyn Brewery.

Also: SLPS founder and director Casey Keblaugh will present a lecture on Sunday, Dec 6 at 2 pm at the New Orleans Photo Alliance Gallery. More information is about the talk is posted here.
