Tina Freeman: Artist Spaces: New Orleans
On view through December 17, 2014
Tina Freeman is an internationally established New Orleans photographer of architecture, landscape, portraits, and interiors. Artist Spaces: New Orleans highlights in more than 100 extraordinary images the studios of several New Orleans artists. The book also includes interviews conducted by Morgan Molthrop with each artist. The exhibit will explore the creative and collaborative process to produce this extraordinary book. In a series of workshops, Newman and Breakthrough students will work with nationally known artists to create artwork and a publication to be exhibited at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. This opportunity to unite young student artists throughout the New Orleans community to collaborate and create art was made possible by the Harry T. Howard III Foundation in partnership with the Elizabeth Oudt Fund in the Arts at Isidore Newman School.
