Traveling companions, the photographer (Paulo) and model (Zoe West) spend two weeks exploring France. The images created used the art nude as the point of departure through which to view France, from the streets of Paris, to the countryside, towns and beaches of the South of France. The resulting images, black and white art nudes, made with a Leica, incorporate many visual elements of France – the castles, vineyards, olive groves, beaches, and of course, cafes, wine, croissants and “un cafe, s’il vous plait” ! The photography ranges from the style of guerrilla street photography, the figure in nature, the voyeur, portraiture and the abstract, to express the shared vision of photographer and model of France during their journey.
