A Documentary Film:
MY LOUISIANA LOVE traces photographer Monique Verdin’s quest to find a place in her Native American community as it reels from decades of environmental degradation. A look at the complex and uneven relationship between the oil industry and the indigenous community of the Mississippi Delta, it is both unique and frighteningly familiar. My Louisiana Love is a modern story of love, loss, and resilience in Southeast Louisiana.
Running time is approximately 1 hour.
