This will be Marjorie Brown Pierson’s second solo show at Martine Chaisson Gallery. For this exhibition, she will present a series of archival pigment and transfer prints.
Marjorie Pierson is a visual artist based in Durham, North Carolina and New Iberia, Louisiana. Her work captures the fragile beauty of disappearing wetlands in the American South, and explores water as a source of inspiration and cultural identity. She is an adjunct professor at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment.
