Sullivan Gallery presents a solo show of Meryt Harding’s images from Africa. The majority of photographs in this exhibit are of the Samburu ‘Mama Tembos’ or Elephant Mothers who monitor elephant movement for ‘Save the Elephants’. Meryt has been traveling to Africa for over 25 years, and is involved with various animal conservation groups.
Meryt Harding is a visual artist with a concentration in photography and oil painting. She studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Meryt has shown her work nationally and in her home town including the CAC, New Orleans Museum of Art, the New Orleans African American Museum.
