Leslie Elliottsmith’s photographic assemblages speak to the frustration and resilience required to survive these American times of social warfare and to spring back from the ceaseless influx of information and misinformation. Each piece delves into a view of personal space, environmental stewardship, and social expectations.
BIO
Leslie Elliottsmith attended LSU and received a BS in art education and a Masters of Fine Arts in printmaking with a minor in painting. For many years she taught in various capacities at LSU, UNO, LC, LSUA, and a series of artist in residencies throughout Louisiana. She currently lives and works in Alexandria, LA.
