Join acclaimed photographer Keith Carter for a one-day workshop that delves into the creative process through a series of lectures, group discussions, and abbreviated portfolio reviews.
Would you like to strengthen your vision and broaden the way you think about photography? This workshop will help photographers find more passion in their work by exploring the narrative, aesthetic, and emotional aspects of image making. Through studying the work of both historically significant and little known photographers, classroom discussion, and individual portfolio reviews, we will refine our views on the creative photographic process. In addition to strategies for success in elevating your work to the next level, we will discuss ways to help reconcile your practical and creative lives. Everyone is encouraged to bring a sense of humor and a sense of purpose.
This workshop is open to emerging and professional photographers seeking to expand or refine their own creative process. Participants should bring a printed portfolio of 10-12 images.
