Crescent City Illumenations is an ongoing series of Lumen Prints, an early photographic process using organic objects as subjects, and the sun as developer. I’ve spent the last 10 years taking daily walks in the Garden District. As I began experimenting with the lumen print process, my subject matter became the fallen flowers and leaves that I gathered as they crossed my path during these walks. The result is a series of images that reflect my own personal and creative development as a person, and as an artist. – Natasha Sanchez
