In the late 19th and early 20th century some photographers were part of a movement to manipulate photographs to look like paintings. This movement was Pictorialism. James L. Dean has written a computer program to make digital photographs look more like paintings. In this exhibition, some of the results are presented on 12″ x 16″ and 30″ x 40″ canvases.
