Indie Photobook Library Pop-Up Exhibition
Curated by Larissa Leclair, Jan Gilbert and Russell Lord
Founded by Larissa Leclair in 2010, the Indie Photobook Library (iPL) is an archive of self-published and indie published photobooks. This includes DIY, photobooks independently published and distributed, photography exhibition catalogs, print-on-demand photobooks, artist books, zines, photobooks printed on newsprint, limited edition photobooks, non-English language photography books and more.
Larissa will be here with a selection of 33 titles from the iPL collection, curated on the themes of migration, cultural identity and transition. The exhibition will be on view for three days only – Friday Nov 30 through Sunday Dec 2 – in the CAC’s atrium.
On Friday afternoon Larissa will speak about the iPL’s journey and mission in the CAC’s Spun Café. The event is free and open to the public.
