Hillary Atiyeh’s In Hot Water is a series of underwater nudes in natural thermal springs. The images were created at Breitenbush Hot Springs, a wilderness retreat center and intentional community set amidst the ancient forests of Oregon’s Cascade mountain range in the United States. The people of the Breitenbush Community live off the grid, powered by the river and geothermal heat. They live amongst old growth trees and are connected to the land, the water and each other.
