Established artists from New Orleans, exhibit fine photography and works on paper. Michael Fedor studied with photographers Lois Conner, Annie Leibowitz, and at the Art Students League of New York with artistic anatomy professor, Robert Beverly Hale. Leona Strassberg Steiner’s early experience in Modern Dance has informed her influence of natures movement in her photography and painting. Steiner’s work centers on issues related to our planet’s future, the new political dilemma, natural landscapes, and transitions in time. Her Bywater Fine Art Printing Studio has printed for many artists in New Orleans and beyond. Blake Nelson Boyd, commonly known as Blake Boyd, is an American film actor, comedian, and visual artist who lives and works in New Orleans and London. Boyd was mentored by Andres Serrano, and Andy Warhol Factory manager, Billy Name in the 1990’s. Boyd’s visual art takes many different forms of expression. Including painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, video and installation.
