‘Bodies of Silver & Light’ is a solo show exhibiting works by Wes Fowinkle that primarily focuses on the wet plate collodion process. The show will feature several large giclee prints of original glass plate collodion images.

Artist Bio:
Wes Fowinkle is a self taught artist. The combination of real life experimentation along with his insatiable curiosity of creative ideas are the main factors that push forward the art he produces. Although he has experience in a myriad of areas including drawing, drafting, painting, woodworking, metalsmithing, blacksmithing, and sculpture, his most recent work is grounded in photography- namely a 19th century photographic process known commonly as the wet plate collodion process which creates an ethereal, one of kind, photographic image on glass.
