ARTIST BOOK MAKING WORKSHOP WITH ANNA TOMCZAK

In this one day workshop participants will concentrate on the various methods of integrating photographs into the surface of various art papers and cloth. The intent is to express a visual idea in the form of a unique book with wide creative latitude. A variety of book binding styles and drum binding will be shown and demonstrated.

Surface treatments will be introduced such as coating with wax and hand painting. The workshop will emphasize the photographic image transfer, but is not limited to this and will include other modes of expression – drawing, poetry, collage & illustration.

Only 10 spaces available. 1 day workshop fee – $125, includes some materials. A list of materials will be sent upon registration. Registration and deposit required.
