‘Already Seen’ is a mobile exhibition that explores the human experience of deja vu and its relationship to internal and external realities. Through alternative process photography, mixed media, sculpture, and soundscape an immersive space is created with the intention of sharing personal stories and experiences related to the phenomenon of Deja Vu. The work is created by Jennifer Brunjes of River Shepard Photographic Arts through a collaborative interview process. The exhibition is a mobile experience. It, like the experience of Deja Vu, is unpredictable, unexpected, and not location relative. The exhibition exists in a 20ft box truck, creating a unique mobile gallery show, popping up across New Orleans.
The gallery will pop up across the city in different locations each day/night. Marigny, Bywater, St. Claude Arts District, Uptown, and more.
To find their location and see the show follow @river.shepard on Instagram. Locations and times will be updated throughout the PhotoNOLA week.
