J. Stirling Barrett’s artwork revolves around the indigenous culture of New Orleans, especially relative to its diverse and historic architecture. He creates unique collages by photographing small sections of his subject matter then pieces together a large number of photos to complete his final composition. A completed piece of art may contain anywhere between one hundred to five hundred individual images.
