Eliot Kamenitz, 62, was a staff photographer for the Times Picayune for 32 years. Presently he is a part time staff photographer for the New Orleans Advocate where he has worked since 2012, Originally from New York City, he moved to Southwest Florida when he was 12 after a snow plow buried his father’s car “for the last time’’. He has lived and worked in the South ever since, including Saint Augustine, FL, Macon, GA, and Dallas, TX. He is a 1974 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. Before joining the New Orleans Advocate, Kamenitz had worked on nine newspapers in various capacities including copyeditor, reporter, features writer, food columnist and sports writer. In 2006 he was part of the staff that was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking New Coverage for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina. He lives in the Mid-City area of New Orleans with his wife Laura and cat Ranger.

Natasha Sanchez has been photographing & writing songs about her environment through 19th, 20th & 21st century photographic styles since the most recent turn of the century. She studied History and Cultural Geography in college, earning a B.A. in 1995. The next 10 years were spent working in the film, music, and photography industries until she decided to combine the knowledge and inspiration gained from her academic and professional background into her own artistic productions called Nattie Concepts. In 2011, she embarked on a World Tour without leaving the state of Louisiana. She continues to tour, create photographs, and write. Additionally, she teaches others how to ‘see’ their world through photography workshops in the Garden District and French Quarter.
