BUREAU of CHANGE Meets with North Korea

This photo-based installation, set against the backdrop of a model communist apartment, documents a theater of diplomacy between the BUREAU of CHANGE and North Korea. Through the semblance of a seemingly impossible exchange, the BUREAU meets with North Korean leaders in attempt to transform parasitic attitudes under different cultural spells into ones that thrive by a symbiotic arrangement. We invite the public to our headquarters to view documentary records that illustrate the results of our negotiations with the United States’ last remaining Cold War enemy.
