We’ve made some exciting changes for this year’s PhotoNOLA Portfolio Reviews.
First, we’ve decided to run the two review days on Friday and Saturday this year, right smack in the middle of the four day festival line-up. We’re hoping this will allow everyone – reviewees, reviewers, and volunteers – time to take in more education and exhibitions on Thursday and Sunday.
Second, we’re including Gala entrance in the review registration fee, so that everyone joining us for portfolio reviews can glide right in to the Thursday night party, which will be hosted in high style by the New Orleans Museum of Art.
Third, our PhotoWALK is moving on up to the Ogden Museum’s exquisite Taylor Library. This should make set up much easier and draw a bigger audience for the event.
Fourth, (Perhaps you’re thinking can it really get any better? Well, yes…) we’re planning to hire some party buses to chauffeur everyone to the art openings on Saturday night. Trust us, it’s a New Orleans experience you won’t soon forget.
Reviews will take place Friday, Dec. 13 & Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at the International House Hotel.
Registration will open on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 10am Central Time. As always, it will be filled on a first come first served basis.
