PhotoNOLA is seeking an Exhibitions Coordinator to facilitate exhibition opportunities for the eleventh annual PhotoNOLA festival.

The ideal candidate should possess an interest in contemporary photography, a discerning curatorial eye, impeccable interpersonal skills, an enthusiastic demeanor, and the ability to attend monthly committee meetings. This is an unpaid volunteer position.

The Exhibitions Coordinator works with committee members to identify potential exhibition venues, pairs artists/exhibitions with appropriate venues, and acts as a liason between those parties, facilitating introductions and helping to guide the process when necessary. A working knowledge of Google spreadsheets is a plus. Responsibilities are most intense in the early fall, but require attention from July through January.

PhotoNOLA is a volunteer run festival, coordinated by the New Orleans Photo Alliance in partnership with museums, galleries, and alternative venues citywide. This unpaid position offers the chance to get involved with and make connections within our vibrant photo community.
