We are delighted to announce the PhotoNOLA 2019 Review Prize recipients: Congratulations to Vikesh Kapoor, Priya Kambli, and Allison Grant!

PhotoNOLA’s Portfolio Review program offers emerging to established photographers the chance to present their work to influential members of the photographic community. Photographers convene for two days of face-to-face meetings with gallery owners, editors, publishers and museum curators.

After the reviews conclude, each reviewer is asked to note three outstanding projects. Their votes are tallied, and the reviewers’ top three selections are announced. The PhotoNOLA 2019 Review Prize recipients are:

1st- Vikesh Kapoor – See You at Home
2nd- Priya Kambli – Buttons for Eyes
3rd- Allison Grant – Within the Bittersweet

Vikesh Kapoor received the most votes, earning the PhotoNOLA Review Prize, which includes a solo exhibition in New Orleans during the fifteenth annual PhotoNOLA festival, a cash award of $1000, and a complimentary year of mentoring and strategic marketing consultations from Mary Virginia Swanson. Second place winner, Priya Kambli, and third place winner, Allison Grant, will be featured on the PhotoNOLA website. Additionally, all three artists will be offered features on LENSCRATCH.
