Our friends at World Cyanotype Day are seeking cyanotype images for an online exhibition designed to spread some positivity.
The whole world is talking about isolation and viruses & sad things. Let’s give the world something to smile about! To participate, submit one image via email and we’ll post it on our website for the whole world to see.
Submission Guidelines
THEME: “Something to Smile About”
IMAGE SIZE: 72 dpi, 1200 px on the long side, sRGB
– The file size must be under 2MB
– No nudes, please.
IMAGE FORMAT: Save as .jpg
FILE NAMING: lastname_firstinitial_title.jpg
– i.e., Waltrip_db_Bluebird_On_My_Shoulder.jpg
– Please do not use symbols or spaces in the file name
SUBMIT: Email your entry to entries.worldcyanotypeday@gmail.com
Type SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT in the subject line of the email.
In the body of the email, please include:
1. your name,
2. the title of your piece in quotation marks
3. link to your website, in that order.
*If you’ll follow these directions for your text it’ll make my job SO much easier!
You may also include a short description of your process… Photogram? Printed from negative? Toned? Unusual Substrate? Inspiration?
