“Rooster, Age Unknown” by Isa Leshko has been purchased by the Harry Ransom Center for their renowned photography collection, which includes the world’s first photograph by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. HRC’s Senior Research Curator, Roy Flukinger, first saw Isa’s Elderly Animals series at the 2009 PhotoNOLA Portfolio Review.

And for anyone in or passing through Texas, the Houston Center for Photography is exhibiting Leshko’s Elderly Animals project through June 26, 2012. Congratulations to Isa for being honored as a 2012 HCP Fellowship Recipient, and for all of her success with this project!
