Nola community’s newest rock shop in old Gretna presents photographs of penguin by Julie Dermansky she created in Antartica including images of Emperor penguin, one of a growing number of species threaten by climate change.
Dermansky traveled to Snowhill, a remote island in Antartica, that like South Louisiana, where she is based, faces quickening sea level rise. This exhibition is Mineralogie’s first fine art exhibition focused on Nature – with the intention to highlight nature’s creations as well as creations inspired by the natural world.
