CURRENTS 2024: New Orleans Photo Alliance Members Showcase

The New Orleans Photo Alliance (NOPA), in partnership with Ogden Museum of Southern Art, is proud to announce CURRENTS 2024, its annual PhotoNOLA showcase exhibition. CURRENTS 2024 will be on display at Ogden Museum of Southern Art during PhotoNOLA, the annual festival of photography produced by the New Orleans Photo Alliance 501(c)3. The 15th annual exhibition, designed to highlight the diverse work being created by NOPA members, will present images by 8 photographers.

About the Curator:
Liv Constable-Maxwell is Commissioning Editor at the London-based publishers MACK. Her recent projects include Stephen Shore’s Modern Instances: The Craft of Photography; Tee A. Corinne: A forest fire between us, RaMell Ross’ Spell Time Practice American Body, Francesca Woodman’s The Artist’s Books, and Exteriors: Annie Ernaux and Photography.
CURRENTS 2024 will be on display at Ogden Museum of Southern Art from December 13, 2024 – February 23, 2025. An opening reception will be held on Friday, December 13th from 5 – 9 p.m. featuring a juror talk with Liv Constable-Maxwell at 6:30 p.m.

5-6 p.m. – Baldwin Lee walk-through with Ogden Museum Curator of Photography, Richard McCabe
6:30-7 p.m. – CURRENTS Juror talk with Liv Constable-Maxwell

7-9 p.m. – Opening PhotoWALK in Ogden Museum’s historic Patrick F. Taylor Library featuring work by PhotoNOLA participating photographers
Ogden Museum of Southern Art is located at 925 Camp Street, and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
