Artists of all genres are invited to submit work for consideration for “PoliticoPopUp” – a one night political pop up show/happening – on Wednesday, December 9th – with poetry, live music and art.

The whole world is going through tumultuous times, with millions of people searching for a
safe haven, climate change, #BlackLivesMatter, our school systems inadequate, police
brutality on the rise, and our mental health institutions being closed at an alarming rate. We
all are facing the daily backlash of these issues in our personal and workday lives. Join us in
a PopUp show, a one night happening, with poetry, live music and ART!!! At the New
Orleans Art Center in The Bywater. PoliticoPopUp is a safe place to exhibit art, in any
medium, that speaks to political and social issues where galleries, museums and other
institutions will not.

The exhibition will be held at the New Orleans Art Center, 3300 St. Claude Avenue, in The Bywater,
on Wednesday, December 9th, 6-10pm.
