Greetings everyone!
With PhotoNOLA 2009 just a mere few weeks away it is officially crunch time. We have a fabulous list of events scheduled for the first 2 weeks of December all in the name of great photography. This is the time of year when our fantastic members and volunteers are needed more than ever! I hope y’all can help pitch in this year to make PhotoNOLA a great success.
The event that we need the most volunteers for is the GALA at NOMA on December 10th. Duties included but are not limited to helping set-up, coordinating various aspects of the auction, food & beverage service, audio/visual set-up, front-of-house schmoozing, endorsing memberships, coat checks, and breaking down the entire event (before NOMA kicks us out). Below is a list of the events scheduled and the number of volunteers we need for each one. Please email Morgan at kmsasser@gmail.com if you know what event you would like to help with so we can add you to the master list and send you event details!
Lastly, there will be a PhotoNOLA volunteer meeting on TUESDAY NOVEMBER 24TH at 6:30PM at the New Orleans Photo Alliance Gallery (1111 St. Mary). This will be our huge volunteer pow-wow to make sure we’re all on the same page and have a clear action plan. If you are planning on volunteering this year please please please try to come.
