There are several opportunities for artists to participate in PhotoNOLA, from taking part in our portfolio reviews to exhibiting work in solo, group, and juried exhibitions during the festival.
Submit an Exhibition Listing
If you have secured your own venue for a photo-based exhibition scheduled for the duration of PhotoNOLA, please submit the information using our Exhibitions Listings Form . We are excited to consider the work of photographers of all skill levels for inclusion on our exhibitions map. More info on how to be featured in the 2024 exhibitions map to come!
Juried Exhibitions
For opportunities to enter your work in juried exhibitions, please check our Calls for Entries page. As exhibition calls related to the festival become available, they will be shared here.
***Please note that PhotoNOLA (coordinated by the New Orleans Photo Alliance) does not have a budget for producing, traveling or installing exhibitions.***
If you would like to list a call for entry, please fill out the call for entries form.
Attend the Portfolio Review
The PhotoNOLA Portfolio Review is open to photographers on a first come, first served basis. PhotoNOLA is not a juried review, however participants should be emerging to mid-career level photographers, with a solid body of work and a history of exhibitions and/or publications. Participants will have 8 one-on-one 20 minute sessions with reviewers over two days, a spot at the PhotoWALK and a chance at the PhotoNOLA Review Prize.
Submit an Exhibition Proposal for 2024
Interested in exhibiting for the 18th annual PhotoNOLA Festival in 2024? Please submit your exhibition proposal by filling out the exhibition proposal form. The proposals will be reviewed by the exhibitions committee. We do our best to match artists with venues throughout New Orleans but have a limited number of venues. Artists are encouraged to pursue their own venues as well.
