I lived in New Orleans for a period of 20 years. I had to come to NC after being severly beaten almost to death in July of 1997. I was heart broken to leave even after my ordeal New Orleans will always be like my second home.
I have told my sisters of my days working in the quarters and of LaLa The Bead Lady and Ruthie the Duck Lady.
I lost my photos etc.,while in transit and have none to show to my sisters. DOES ANYONE HAVE A PHOTO OF EITHER ONE OF THESE LOVELY LADIES THAT THEY COULD EMAIL ME..
IF SO I'D BE SO GRATEFUL, AS I AM NOT ABLE TO TRAVEL ANYMORE AND SHALL NOT BE COMING TO NEW ORLEANS ANYTIME IN THE FORESEEN FUTURE.
GOD BLESS AND HOPE YOU ALL THE BEST.
SINCERELY,
DANNY WOODSON dannywoodson@bellsouth.net

Jack,
I am blown away by your "Summer in Xenia Illinois, 2009!" The effect of the color and the composition are both amazing. I grew up in that town--remember that house. I lived in Xenia from 1948-1970. My folks lived there until 2004, and I still go back there once in awhile but have lived many places since then.
How did you end up in Xenia in 2009?
